About Laura
Through both professional and personal experience, Laura became increasingly interested in what enables some people to manage everyday life and make progress towards their goals more easily than others. This led her to develop a particular interest in organisation and the role it plays in reducing unnecessary pressure and helping life run more smoothly.
She founded Organisely because she loves helping people work out what is making daily life feel more demanding than it needs to be and finding ways to make it easier.
Laura lives in Surrey with her husband, her two nearly fully fledged sons, and their spirited Jack Russell, Tilly.
How Organisely Works
We begin by identifying the area of home or life you would like to focus on. Together, we explore what is and isn't working, identify the factors creating unnecessary pressure or making things harder to sustain, and develop solutions that fit your circumstances.
The aim is not to impose a one-size-fits-all approach, but to help you develop and implement ways of organising your home and life that feel realistic, sustainable, and genuinely useful. Support involves exploring options together, with recommendations and practical suggestions offered where helpful.
Support may take place online, in person, or through a combination of both. Some challenges may benefit from working together within the home environment. Where in-person support is recommended, this is because it is thought likely to add value through observation, guidance, testing, implementation, or practical problem-solving. However, clients may choose to continue online if they prefer.
Support is collaborative and confidential. Every person and household is different, so there is no single way to organise. Support is tailored to your needs, preferences and circumstances. You can focus on a single challenge or work across several areas over time.
Why This Approach?
People often assume that working with a professional organiser means inviting someone into their home to sort, declutter, and make decisions on their behalf. While this can sometimes be helpful, it is not always the most useful place to start.
Before deciding what changes are needed, it is important to understand what is making everyday life feel harder than it needs to be. Different challenges call for different solutions. Some people benefit most from changes to their home environment, while others may benefit from changes to routines, responsibilities, habits, or the way tasks are approached. Most often, it is a combination of several factors.
By understanding the challenge first, support can be tailored to what is most likely to make a lasting difference. This helps ensure that any changes are relevant, realistic, and more likely to work in everyday life.
